These pictures are all of four mechanical pencils my mom bought me. I really like these pencils because they fit in my hand well and are very easy to use. I also thought they were very aesthetically pleasing in this still life photo shoot.
These dimes have been on my bedside table for weeks and I haven't had any use for them. However, for this project they were the perfect thing to use. I also like how small and perfectly round they are, as well as a nice glow in the light.
I decided to use this apple because it seemed like it was good to have a natural aspect to some pictures. I cut the apple into quarters, because when they were in halves it didn't look as nice. I also think the filters had a good effect because it was like combining unnatural and natural.
The reason I chose these clips is that they were just sitting on the table outside and I decided that I could use these for the photos when I was bringing them back inside. They actually turned out a lot better than I expected. The only challenge was that they are all a little different from each other but that adds a nice change to the pictures.
I chose the marshmallows because I was actually looking for crackers and while looking in the pantry I noticed these and said to myself hey you could take some cool pictures with these. They are also flat because they were stuck under two packs of coffee. I didn't eat them however, since they were actually expired.
